On 9 October, our teachers and students attended the NBA Cares x Sands Cares Community Impact Week Campus Day at Yuet Wah College. Members of our basketball team had the exciting opportunity to meet NBA legend and Hall of Famer Mitch Richmond and learn from his sporting experience. Our rope skipping team was also invited to perform and impressed the audience with their skills and teamwork. Some students took part in a Chinese calligraphy activity, writing the Chinese character “福” (good fortune) together with special guests and sharing blessings with everyone. We sincerely thank Sands China for the invitation. The event broadened our students’ horizons and helped them understand the importance of sports, including perseverance, teamwork, and healthy living. We hope our students will continue to stay active, learn from role models, and grow through sports.
